As China and India, with between them a huge part of the world's population and previously the lead polluters on the planet, now invest hugely in renewables and understand that education is more than a means to earn a living but rather the key to national transformation, we in the UK seem to have enthusiastically jumped back 30 years.
I don't want to be dragged in this direction.
